Board of Directors
The Ohio County Convention, Tourism and Visitors Commission and Ohio County Tourism, Inc. consists of seven board members. Board members volunteer their time & expertise while serving in their unpaid positions. All members must be willing and able to attend meetings and work events scheduled throughout the year. As of October 2025, members include:

Commission & NFP by-laws state that at least one board member must be a casino appointment.
Board Meetings
General board meetings are held each third Wednesday of the month at 4:05 p.m. at the Ohio County Tourism, Inc. Visitors Center located at 217 N. High Street in Rising Sun. A brief meeting for the Ohio County Convention, Tourism, and Visitors Commission is held at 4 p.m. before each Ohio County Tourism, Inc. meeting.
If you would like to address the tourism board, you may call the Visitors Center (812) 438-4933 from Tues.-Fri. 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or e-mail kendal@enjoyrisingsun.com to be placed on the agenda for the upcoming board meeting.
