Rising Sun’s Fifth Juried Regional Art Show Opens at Pendleton Art Center May 7.

Artists from Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky will exhibit their prize winning art work at the Pendleton Art Center during the month of May. The opening reception will be held at the Pendleton Art Center Friday May 7 from 6-9 pm.

Ben Belew artist and classical pianist will entertain throughout the evening. Prizes will be awarded at 7pm.

Vera Curnow, curator of the show, said, “We are extremely fortunate to have Owen Findsen as judge of this year’s show. Mr. Findsen was a reporter, features writer and art critic for the Cincinnati Enquirer for almost 40 years. He is a well known writer of art related books and has taught art history at the University of Cincinnati.”

The 5th Juried Art Exhibition is sponsored by the Ohio County Tourism Commission as part of their ongoing project development effort.
